I just heard from his mom. He has AML leukemia, rated M5 (on a scale of M1 to M7, with M1 being the least).
Here is a quotation from his mom:
Evan will have a double lumen broviac cental line place tomorrow as well as the bone marrow aspirate and lumbar puncture. They will also inject a special chemo into his spinal column to help fight and prevent things. He will begin chemo on Thurs, Friday at the latest. Please keep praying.

Oh sweet Jesus. That dear precious boy. Many prayers for him and the whole family.
Thank you for the update. This is terrible news...I'll continue to pray.
I just prayed and will pray again. May God bless Evan and his family and I pray that he will get healed.
With gentle hugs, Sharon
prayers are continually being offered....
Thank you for the update- please know prayers continue in great abundance.
I'm praying for this family Ruth. I'm so glad they have God in their lives. I'm sure it makes dealing with having two sick children so much easier when you can turn it all over to God.
Oh, wow, some people have so much to deal with - it's sooo hard when your kids are sick - both at once, too. But we know God loves them all and will keep them in His arms, and they will find blessings in amongst the pain.
Oh Ruth. My heart hurts to hear all that this little boy is suffering from. I understand the bone marrow work can be very painful. Will be praying for him and the family. Thanks for sharing the need.
