Guest Post by Smokey

Smokey thinks my blog needs more humor. I think that's a case of the schnoodle calling the kettle black because he's not a real jokey dog. But he really liked this email that I received from my cousin, so I'm humoring him by sharing it with you. I think it's a dog thing.

Little Red Riding Hood is skipping thru the forest road when she sees the big bad wolf crouched down behind a log.

'My, what big eyes you have, Mr. Wolf.'

The wolf jumps up and runs away.

Further down the road Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf again, and this time he is crouched behind a bush.

'My what big ears you have, Mr. Wolf.'

Again the wolf jumps up and runs away.

About 1/4 mile down the road Little Red Riding Hood sees the wolf again and this time he is crouched down behind a rock.

'My what big teeth you have Mr. Wolf.'

With that the wolf jumps up and screams, 'Will you knock it off! I'm trying to poop!'

Oh man- that got me too!

Smokey- thanks for this, you little rascal.

Now yet another reason this blog is such a special... and funny, place!!

Smokey, I hope this levity is indicative of improving health for you.

Ruth, sometimes I'm amazed how much we're alike. I worry that my blogs get too heavy and serious. I think I have a good sense of humor, but i have to make an effort to lighten up sometimes! Thanks for the chuckle.

Have fun passing it on, Sis.

Yes, Fran, Smokey seems to be feeling much better. He has three more days of pain pills and then we'll see what happens when he goes off. The knee thing may be something that happens periodically, and we'll just learn to deal with it . . . or we may eventually have surgery. It's too soon to know.

Diane, it's hard to get a good blog balance, isn't it?

Minou says that was not all that funny. Is it a true story, he asked.

That was great, I didn't expect it either! I will pass it on to Diva, although she never seems to need privacy when she poops!

Well, it certainly worked because I can't stop giggling!
Good idea, Smokey...

I almost included a link to this post in my Tuesday ramblings, but decided that would be too great a leap to try to make... :)

Well, it cracked me up!! and it also reminded me that I am lagging in sense of humor also. I think the whole world could use a dose of it.

Simba will probably laugh, but I don't think Pepper will get it. (She's a little slow. Plus she has ADHD. We're hoping she outgrows it.)

Pretty darn good Smokey when a dogger can pull the wool over the eyes of a human. I had no expectations on what was to be the punch line. A sly devil aren't ya? I needed the relief. Both you and Jeannelle had me laughing today! Much thanks!

Smokey, no fair making me guffaw at the office!

Pats on the head to you, and slurps from Linus & Lucy (who found this hilarious),
