gosh Ruth, beautiful shots. Are these growing in your garden? I am so envious! I only see them in florist shops.

I love those lilies, Ruth.
Lilies and daylilies thrill me.

Your photos are so clear I can almost smell these beautiful flowers. One blossom will perfume a house. We sometimes have them in floral arrangements for the altar and they can be smelled as soon as you walk into the church, even if it's by the back door, almost 100 feet away.
A lovely Sunday post, Ruth.

Ruth- this post is like a prayer. I close my eyes, go deep within and when I inhale a deep breath, I can smell them.

Gorgeous. Thank you!

Wow Ruth, beautiful day lilies. Yours I assume. So very pretty, and nice photos. I wish I could grab them and put them in water to enjoy.

Love the stargazers. I want to move mine next year, or this fall. Any advice?

Ruth Hull Chatlien said...

I'd move them in the fall. If you do it in the spring and they've already started to grow, you might stunt them or even lose them.

Don't you love the way they release their perfume at night?

Beautiful photos.

I can smell them now!

My Stargazers are done. They just finished up. I love them and Casa Blanca's.

I'm turning more and more to lilies since I'm having so much trouble with RRD in my roses!

Lovely photos!
:)
