Thank you, Jeannelle

Several days ago, Jeannelle of Midlife by Farmlight gave me the Brilliante Weblog award. Thank you, Jeannelle. I'm so touched and grateful.

The rules for this award are

1. Show the award on your blog, and explain the rules.

2. Designate this award to go on to 7 blogs which you admire and visit frequently. List those 7 blogs, providing a link to each.

3. Visit those 7 blogs and tell them in a comment that you have given them an award.

So here are my seven recipients:

1. Fran of FranIAm writes a passionate blog about both politics and religion. She also has a wicked sense of humor, and she's a great friend to her fellow bloggers.

Jenny of I'm Having a Thought Here shares her humorous opinions and her daily adventures. Her comments on other blogs are very supportive.

Eileen of Eileen the Episcopalifem advocates for liberal views of politics and religion. She's a dedicated feminist and also very fun.

Barbara of Views from the Road has a wonderful sense of whimsy and loves to play with photoshop. She also creates very funny YouTube adventures about her family.

L.J. at Presbyterian Gal has a strong sense of justice and environmental responsibility. She shares her life with honesty and deep emotion.

Jan at Yearning for God is a deeply spiritual person who writes with great honesty about her concerns for spiritual growth and social justice. She's a very encouraging blog reader as well.

Tobias Haller of In a Godward Direction posted brilliant insights about biblical interpretation and contemporary church issues. He also has posted stunning music of his own composition.

Thank you so much, Ruth. Your friendship and opinions I value very much. It's hard to think of whom to choose though, especially after all your wonderful choices!

Congrats Ruth. But now I have another bunch of blogs to check out! Ummmm, this is getting a tad time consuming! Everyone has such wonderful blogs and so much to say. It's becoming a fulltime job just keeping up!

I just finally posted about vacation, this will come soon. Just did not want you to think that I forgot! Or that I was not grateful!
