I told my mom I would give you all an update. Her head is feeling better, and she thanks you for the prayers. She is pretty sure she'll be back to reading blogs Monday.
In the meantime, I wanted to show you how cold it's been. Yesterday, it was 16 degrees when we went out, and today it was 19. So Mom makes me wear this sweater. It's not my favorite thing, but I tolerate it. My mom made it for me, so I don't want to hurt her feelings even though it makes me feel silly. Did you ever have a sweater like that?
Stay warm, everybody.

Oh Smokey, but it's so cute.
Smokey, you are a nice, obedient child!
My daughter Sidda WOULD NOT wear her clothes.
(She looks like your photo negative, I'm realizing, as she is all white!!!)
Your mom is so talented and nice.
(Glad she feels better too.)
Little Eddie is trapped between two emotions...one is "Aw, Smokey, I feel so sowwy fo you; you got to be embawwassed for getting you pitchur on da Web like dat," and the other is, "Ha ha ha, yo mamma make you wear cwothes!"
lol - happy Thanksgiving, Smokey - you're the best dressed pup around!
XOXO
Ah, what a pup won't do for the love of their Mom eh Smokey? You look very smart. Give Mom a lick for me.
Aw ... look at that sweet face!
My dogs have embarrassing clothing too. Probably the worst insult to the Princess is her 'England' raincoat which is white, with the St George cross on it. And not only is it a complete fashion disaster, and made of NYLON, for heaven's sake, but she happens to be an Irish lass! LOL!
Compared to that, I'm sure the indignity of the yellow/pink/blue/purple funky penguin PJ fleece is as nothing.
Smokey, I'm so glad your human is feeling better. Remember, she is only thinking of you when she makes you do mortifying things like wear a sweater.
Smokey, you look stunning. I mean it.
I love it! I see your Mom even punctuated it correctly! I love that too...it's so much your Mom!!
But if the truth is told, I'm glad you have to wear it...that way I know I'm not the only dog around here who has to wear a sweater when they go out. I have a couple but my Mom isn't a very good knitter so I have store-bought sweaters. Your's is much cooler...if I had one like that, I'd probably like it better.
Love Rosie
P.S. My Mom said she's glad your Mom is feeling better.
Hello dear Smokey....you are so very handsome that you should never worry about what you are wearing....your mom really loves you to have made you that nice, warm sweater. Brrrr...it certainly is cold where you live! But what about your feet? Don't they get very cold too?
I hope your mom is starting to feel a little better.
Sara
Smokey is so cute.
I'm glad to hear a tiny bit of your faith journey from Sherry, but most of all, I appreciate how you helped her on her path.
When it is THAT cold out we have to wear our sweaters...we just do....and yours is smashing!
Lovely sweater. Stay close to mom Smokey. There's nothing like puppy love to make us humans feel better.
Smokey looks so handsome. Our schnauzie always wore a little red turtleneck with white stripes at the neck and on the cuffs. So cute!
What? Nineteen? Good grief...for a minute I thot that was Celsius and then I remembered...a border separates us.. Yes, we have snow on the mountains I can see from our deck today...but it is shining brightly after a wind storm so I am in and out hanging christmas lights along the eaves. Radar wouldn't be caught dead in a sweater I am afraid...he is so macho! HEe hee...after his grooming at the 'spa' he came out with a kerchief...and glared at me...daring me to comment. Ha
Dear southern belle...I have been too busy with myself and not stopping by...I am saddened to hear of your headaches and I am thinking...go and get it checked girl! I am going to shove you to the top of the prayer list tonight gal!
We had snow in the Blue mountains and 5 degree C temps this weekend - and we're supposed to be near Summer! Our phone line came down in a storm Saturday and only repaired today so I'm following up on the award. Thanks for that. A wonderful unexpected surprise,
