Good morning. How are you this Saturday?
I have a busy day ahead. We have our writers' group meeting in an hour. We have a few pieces to review, and we have to plan for the storytelling night.
Then Michael and I need to run errands and do some house cleaning. Finally, we're going to a murder-mystery dinner at church tonight. I always wanted to go to one of those. I'll let you know how it went.
What's on your agenda today?

What happens at a writers group?
On my agenda for today are just a few errands and a little bit of cleaning and then some time to quilt. Haven't given myself enough of that lately and I got a movie at the library to keep me entertained. Probably a walk before it rains too. EnJOY your day.
I'm quite well, thank you, Ruth! I'm reading another book, straightening up a bit and then going to the gym. Richard will we babysitting this afternoon and we'll probably make falafel for dinner. Yesterday was almost 55 degrees here. Today the temp is dropping like stone and it's flurrying. It'll be a little rough running across the gym parking lot in my shorts!
On the Crooked River train here in Eastern Oregon they have a murder/mystery theme. I've always wanted to participate. Thank you for reminding me! Hope you have a great time.
I'm very "choring" today. And happy to be able to tackle them.
A murder mystery dinner sounds wonderful. I'll always remember the grandest one here in L.A. that I went to: "Tamara." I hope you have a lovely time!
I've cooked and continued to clean almost all morning, caught up with a pal I've not spoken with since before I went on my trip, and am preparing to walk on the treadmill. Too darn cold to walk outside!
Also am interested to find out what happens in a writers' group. I've met a couple of people since I moved back who are in a writers' group here in town but who didn't speak about what goes on.
I signed up for a creative writing class for four consecutive Tuesday nights in April to give me a kick in the rear in that direction!
Oh, I miss my writer's group! It disbanded some time ago, but we had several books published out of that group. They have murder mystery train trips here. I am cleaning today, watering my plants and hoping the frost hasn't killed them completely, and tonight, I hope to go to a "Miss America Party" which wouldn't normally be my thing, but a lovely young lady from our church is Miss Florida and is competing tonight, so I want to go watch her on the big screen and keep her parents company too.
It's good to be home. I am now washing my sixth load of laundry--nothing was washed while I was gone on retreat. A cold front blew through, so it's cool for south TX, and it's nice to be inside.
Your day sounds great!
I'm finishing up a sermon, grocery shopping and housecleaning. I'll definitely take reading breaks, though!
I hope the murder mystery dinner was fun. :O) I've been to one, and I enjoyed it.
Enjoy your Sunday -

We spent a good share of the day cleaning a closet and then we had dad today so we went over there and took supper. I can't wait to hear about your murder-mystery dinner!
Hope you had a fun evening! I'll be interested in hearing about it!
Oh my Ruth...you are super busy today...well, grin actually that was yesterday ...I'm slow. The best part of doing chores is doing them with someone. Hope you had a great night last night...do post and tell us how it went.
I've never been to a murder mystery event. How was it? Worth it?
It will be fun to hear about the murder mystery dinner. I've never attended one.
