Whenever I end a period of being too busy, I go through a phase of what I call "getting my life back." That's the phase I'm in now. This week I've done the following:
1. finished the income tax prep work
2. had five social get-togethers
3. worked on the Artist's Way
4. put in five hours writing on my short story
5. dental work (ick)
6. work, of course (but far fewer hours)
I feel more like a human being again and less like a dray horse. However, my writing energy is going other places at the moment, so I'll close for now.
I hope you all have a great Saturday and do something you really love.

glad you are getting your life back! looking forward to hearing more about your story. that's so exciting.
These seasons of regeneration are important. I am trying to maintain some balance as we come to a crucial point in the school year and we are on a countdown to our daughter's wedding. Both demand a lot of attention. I think I need to do a bit of listmaking today before I lose track.
p.s. I am doing more writing on a different blog - if you have time, come and visit

Hope you have a great Saturday too!
I bet that feels great to be getting your life back. Have a wonderful weekend.
Ok, your getting your life back list makes me exhausted just reading it! I hope you can get some kick back time to just relax. :)
Enjoy your weekend!

Good to have a fallow (relatively speaking) time. Nice to do what you love instead of what you have to do.
Yay. I'm glad you have a more normal life again. I am also impressed that you finished "The Artist's Way."
Oh, I didn't finish it. I just worked on this week's tasks.
Yay! It's amazing how much more like yourself you feel when you start getting back on top of things, isn't it?
Good for you! :)
I need to get my taxes done too. I'll work on them while I'm off on spring break...at least that's the plan. I usually have to pay, so I'm slow at doing them!
Yes, I had a good Happy Saturday at a mens conference with 3,000 men at Bloomfield CT. Had the moment of my life when my name was called for a drawing of Red sox and Yankees Box seats at Fenway for a Saturday afternoon game. very cool day!!!!
and had many instant friends at the conference and church.
glad that your life is back in balance.
