Just Playing Around

I've only had time to do three more sketches since the apple. This one is my favorite. I couldn't get it to photograph quite the way I wanted. If you click on it, you can see it a little more clearly.

I love those kinds of shells! You did really well. There's something really satisfying about drawing, isn't there? I'm not very good at it, but I still enjoy it. I mostly doodle. Also, your poem was very, very good.

I am grinning as I read your post. You are blooming like the flowers on your header! This is marvelous.

Very nice! Drawing is a talent I envy in others. A talent I don't have. It's frustrating when you can see it so perfectly in your head but can't get it down on paper. Well done you!

I cannot draw at all.

Beautiful Ruth. I agree with Lauralew, you are blossoming. What a wonderful way to celebrate spring. I hope your rediscovered talents continue to take root and grow strong. Strong enough to withstand any forces they might meet!

Very beautiful Ruth!! I have some critique-type comments (things I'm learning in my colored pencil class!)...I'll email you! You have a good eye and really draw what you see...that's wonderful!
